Most brands when it come to gaming choose one path to follow. Is either NUC size/ultra mini gaming PC that is underpowered with far from great eye candy graphics. Or, gaming notebooks PC which have decent frame rates at medium settings, if you want higher frame rates (and better graphic visuals) you have to spend more money on build in GTX 1070/GTX 1080 in your gaming notebook pc. Lastly, your best bet is to build your own powerhouse mini-ITX or full blown ATX systems. Its a battle between overall performance versus form factor.
Meet the Asus ROG GR8 II, is the most balance system when it comes to size/volume, in fact better specs compared to most basic level gaming notebook PC right now and is able to compete with the same desktop build parts. Weights 4Kg and 4 litres volume. Plus, Aura RGB Lighting is super duper sexy.
The Asus ROG GR8 II is brought to life using Intel Kaby Lake Core i7-7700 clock at 3.6Ghz. Backed with 16GB DDR4 memory included , but it can support up to 32GB RAM, dual channel up DDR4 2400Mhz. The interesting bit about this Asus ROG GR8 II is the full size desktop class Asus Custom Nvidia GTX 1060 with 3GB GDDR5 made for VR games. So its VR ready right out the box. The GTX 1060 Custom is clock at 1544Mhz with a boost up to 1759Mhz, memory is clock at 2022Mhz.

In 2 situations where this form factor shines the best, in LAN parties as you don’t need to lug around heavy systems even mini itx is still bigger than the ROG GR8 II. Secondly, as a simple mobile workstation where you can use it in travel and hook it up to a HMDI TV at the hotel, great for editing photos/videos on the go.
