This is Razer’s entry level gaming mouse that has an ambidextrous shape, can be used by left-handed or right-handed person. Is a basic gaming mouse with 3 buttons, no DPI clutch or even a back/forth button. It uses 7,200 DPI optical sensor. Not sure what switches they’re using but is easy to accurate and there is no travel before each click. Scroll wheel step-type and smooth with low resistance.

You do need the Razer Synapse software to set DPI for your everyday usag. I change the scroll click (by pressing down on the scroll wheel) to DPI switching button. There is hypershift mode if you choose to enable it that doubles up your function of the mouse.

For ergonomics, my hands is measuring 18cm long by 10cm wide. The mouse is measuring 11.3cm long, 6.1cm wide and 4cm tall. This is a low-profile mouse, so most medium-to-big size plam-style-grip users will not enjoy using this but is good for people with a 8-10cm long hand size. Claw-style-grip may not prefer this as there is not enough support in the middle plam are. This mouse work best for finger-grip-style users like me regardless of hand size but need time to adjust to.

The mouse is lightweight at 78 grams and the two large glide pad help it to glide on mouse surface smoothly. This is good for flick shots in Overwatch for sniping based characters like Ana. Of course the RGB, you have few lighting mode in synapse which you can customise each zone. The underglow concept is nice because it add little glow around your hands and lits the surface a bit. The all matte plastic finish is nice to grip and also easier to clean. For me I would recommend this for beginners to improve their aim and also for college since it doesn’t take much space in the bag.
