Very short charging cable but fir into the charging case.

You can power on/off the earbuds by taking them out or back into the case. Aside from that, a long press on the power button on the earbuds would also do the trick. Volume can be adjusted on the earbuds, on the left side (single tap for volume up, tap and hold for volume down).

The passive sound isolation is non-existence as the earbuds are earphones with silicone ear tips acting like a sound tube to direct sound to the ear canal. They call this ear tips, Always Aware™; the reason behind this is so you can hear your environment and not be knocked down by a bus.

SOUND QUALITY

Audit Quality tested on Samsung S10e
POP/EDM:
Tiaan – Be Ok (Low bass frequency – 5th Volume)
Low bass frequency is highly energetic and highly notable, you can feel some air pressure movement in your ears. The subtle bass vibrations fade a little fast for my taste. The low bass does overpower the vocals slightly in terms of audible level but vocals are not muffled.

Pia Mia – Do It Again (standard bass – 5th Volume)
Bass is energetic and presence. The bass fades quickly at 2:05 mark, the vibrations felt is little due to the earbud’s nature. Vocal slightly overpowers the bass in terms of audible level which I prefer. EDM tone alive and excited.

Vocals/Instrumentals :
Violinder – Raindrops (high frequency instrumental – 5th volume)
The Piano/Violin tone leans towards the crystal-clear type, not the warm sounding type, I prefer crystal-clear type. A good amount of shine at the highs. The Bass/Drums does not overpower Piano/Violin in term of audible levels much, Piano/Violin takes center stage often while bass/drum become background support.

Pentatonix – See Through (hi pitch vocal/separation – 5th volume)
Mitch Grassi’s High-pitched-male Tenor vocals perform well at the highs, need little more shine. Each singer can be identified easily. Every diction and pronunciation is crystal clear. Vocal beatboxing, echoing and humming is great but slightly overpowers Mitch Grassi’s vocal in the song.

FINAL VERDICT

Calvin Pixels | CalvinPixels | CalvinPixels.com | Plantronics BackBeat FIT 3100 Review | True Wireless Sport Earbuds

This sport orientated true wireless earbuds performs well from the lows to the mids. Great for POP/EDM/Bass Heads. I wish they didn’t do the earphone style with a silicone sound tube as that reduces the sound isolation significantly.
