Tecware Haste x Tecware Wristpad Review | RGB Mousepad | Hard Foam Wrist Pad
PHASE 1 : TECWARE HASTE
There are two size that Tecware offer, XL and XXL size.
(XL: 800 x 300 x 3mm) / (XXL: 900 x 300 x 3mm)
Our version is the XL version which is measuring 83cm across (measured from top left to bottom right, like how you measure a monitor screen) with thickness of 0.3cm. The top surface is smooth cloth-type with micro-texture that would not affect tracking much but calibrate your mouse in software. This is great for people who like to glide their mouse fast sideways like MOBA or MMO. The rubber bottom locks the mat to any surface easily.
However I wish they included cable management holder to can hold few cable say keyboard + mouse or notebook cables on the top side. But they beat Razer and much more expensive brands by offering micro USB detachable cable. Close to a 2 meter long. Thanks to the smooth surface it is easy to wipe off any dirt with little spray of water. There is no software need to toggle between the 11 lighting effects. The glow has decent brightness to add some ambient to your setup.
Available lighting effects: Colour Cycle Breathing, Colour Flicker, Colour Changing, Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Ice Blue, Yellow, White
PHASE 2 : TECWARE WRISTPAD
We keyboard user face one challenge every time we visit a retail shop, asking if the shop sells a separate wristpad accessories and often the answer is a big fat NO!!!. Here is where the good news from Tecware comes in. I test Tecware Phantom, Tecware Spectre, IKBC Keyboard, Razer Hunstman and Ducky One, it just works well with any type and form of keyboards.
There are two size that Tecware offer in Full Size and Tenkeyless size.
(Tenkeyless – 370 x 100 x 17mm)
(Full – 445 x 100 x 17mm)
We will be taking a look at the full size one for the review. The bottom have micro textured rubberized surface that lock into position regardless of table top type or mouse pad. I have tried on glass, wood vinyl, smooth glossy mouse pad and high texture rough mouse pads, it stick better than my previous relationship.
The top is covered with soft fabric with double stitching on the corner so it won’t fray easily. Tho the main highlight is the hard foam they use which is 1.5cm thick which will age well and get softer slow overtime great for longevity. Razer uses a soft foam type which under a year flattens out like a pancake on heavy arms/hands.
The Tecware mousepad is highly affordable and appealing to many as it features RGB lighting effect. Tho the side have some warping and does flat out complete, is either the LED strip is too long or the mousepad wasnt cut into shape properly. This can be fixed easily so I’ll let it slide for now.
The Tecware wristpad on the other hand, is god-sense to own them. It just works so well for any type of keyboards and more importantly ACTUALLY WORKS FOR ERGONOMICS PURPOSE. I highly recommended stuff to get, plus it can be a tool to smack you boyfriend if he ever plays PUBG too much.
